Follow the signs to Ireland's only Cable Car that will take you across to Dursey Island. This small island (less than 10 square km), is home to only a few residents, and the walking trails give unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rest of Coastal Beara. Dursey Island is one of seven inhabited islands in West Cork. Here you'll find the ruins of O'Sullivan Bere's Castle, as well as a 200 year old signal tower.
