Hungry Hill is a mountain on the Beara Peninsula in the Republic of Ireland. With a height of 685 metres (2,247 ft) it is the highest peak of the Caha Mountains and the 130th highest in Ireland.
Here you will find the Mare’s Tail waterfall. It is the highest waterfall in Ireland and the UK. It is a cascade taking the waters of Coomadavallig Lake over the impermeable sandstone to the valley of Coomgira and Adrigole harbor.
Previously known as the Mare Mane, this waterfall has always had a great appeal to locals and tourists.
Adrigole is located on the R572, 36km from Bantry on the Glengarriff/Castletownbere Road.
